Not only was Ray a brother but a good friend and was best man at our wedding. We enjoyed our annual family summer holidays, usually to Blackpool but also to Great Yarmouth and Margate. We had a good time playing cricket and kicking a ball around on the beach. In our early adulthood we enjoyed watching Nuneaton Borough play at home and we went to some away matches such as at Atherstone, Kidderminster and Matlock. We will always remember the times we have shared together.

Loving memories of Ray. A caring Brother, Brother in law and uncle. Although you moved from Hinckley too Yorkshire we always enjoyed keeping in touch by visits and phone calls. We often reminisce about when we lived at home with our Mam, Dad, Brothers and Nelson the dog. Will also updated each other on our own Families. We will always remember and cherish our memories of you.

Fond memories of Uncle Ray. We enjoyed seeing him when he came to visit us several times a year and hearing about his time working in the sandwich factory, Barnsley football club and his holidays with his family. When we managed to visit him we enjoyed a chip shop meal together. He would always ask about us all when talking to our Dad on the phone and was a kind and caring Uncle.
